Manila - HIMEX Corporation joined the 2018 CTMRISP Joint Annual Convention on October 25-27, 2018. The convention titled “Concepts and Trends: Neck and Thoracic Imaging From Diagnosis to Intervention” at the Manila Hotel.
In the three-day convention, HIMEX Corporation promoted its CT, MRI, and ultrasound product lines. Brought to the event and displayed at the booth were HITACHI’s Arietta 850 and Arietta Prologue. Aside from the two medical equipment mentioned above, HIMEX also distributes HITACHI CT Scan and MRI systems. HITACHI’s newest CT Scan is the Scenaria View 128 slice CT scanner which paves the way for the future. The whole body scanner has a 0.35-second rotation speed which reduces kinetic artefact, examination time and contrast volume for vascular exploration dosage, while maintaining excellent diagnostic imagery. The 750mm aperture maximises patients’ comfort, reduces anxiety and stress, and enables effortless examinations.
Meanwhile, HITACHI’s New Echelon Smart 1.5T Superconductive heralds the dawn of a new standard for 1.5T superconductive MRI. The Echelon Smart features a small footprint and limited cost, without compromising diagnostic quality and speed. Based on Hitachi’s proprietary technology, this system has opened up the potential for 1.5T systems, providing superb image quality and superior install flexibility inherited from permanent-magnet MRI systems.
